Dogs in Mourning – Pet tip 246
Dogs are extremely sensitive animals and can feel many of the same emotions that humans feel. Although many seasoned dog owners already know this, newer dog owners are often surprised by the depth of some of the emotions that dogs can feel. We all know that dogs can be very happy creatures; their broad wagging tails give them away every time. But dogs are capable of feeling more complex emotions than just happiness. At the other end of the spectrum there is sadness and depression and dogs are capable of feeling these emotions. Perhaps there is no greater testament to this fact then when a dog’s owner or another dog from the household dies

Wow! or should that be Bow wow! my own space.
Hi there and thanks for looking at me. I took possession of my new owner in September 06. I'm originally from Ohio where I was picked up as a stray (1st offence, honest) and a rescue organization decided I would do better with new keeper. So now I find myself having to live by 'his' rules. My compensation for this is the run of the house when he's away, loads of room to stretch my long gangly legs and as much play as I want.
He tried to feed my some brown pieces of dirt in a bowl but thanks to the pets.ca chefs I have real meat and treats now. I reward him for the great food by leaving less mess for him to pick up, but as far as I'm concerned, his socks are free game if he leaves them hanging up.
Despite his best offorts to spoil me I have one toy that I will only play with, it's a 2 legged cow that used to squeak, well it also had 4 legs but 2 dissapeared one day while I was having a little nibble.
