Lesser Known Food Toxins for Dogs – Pet tip 243
Most dog owners are aware that many dogs will eat almost anything. This is especially true of puppies and younger dogs. It is for this reason that houses need to be dog proofed or puppy proofed. Good house proofing will keep dogs away from medications, poisons inedible objects etc. and this is a great start. We know that even though dogs eat the weirdest stuff, the greatest temptation comes from foods that they are not supposed to eat. By now most dog owners know that chocolate is a MAJOR ‘no no’ and certain types of chocolate can actually kill a dog.

We got this dog from a rescue organization in 2001. She had been chained to a couch in this guys apartment and left to starve to death. She was nursed back to health after being rescued from death row by TAGS.
We had just lost our dog Shadow and decided to look for an older dog that needed a home instead of a puppy...it was the best thing we ever did.She brought joy to us...for 6 years we loved each other ...words can not express how I feel over the loss of my girl Dakota. She got lymphoma and we had to ease her suffering for her....now we suffer and cry. It seems like such a short time that we had her to love...a short time that will never ever be forgotten...rest in peace my girl...I love you forever.
