Jigger was a stray that was hanging around the neighborhood since late summer 2006. In November 2006, I couldn't bear seeing him out in the cold, so I took him in. He was a sorry sight the first time I noticed him: matted coat, dirty, skinny and had a huge lump on his left hip. Eventually he gained weight because some neighbours were leaving food outside for the strays. Now, he has a shiny coat, gained weight, is playful and is quite friendly. He's about 1 1/2 to 2 years old. He gets along well with the other two, Minou, Cosmo and my dog, Nicky.
