7-Up was always the sweet bird out of the two.
She was a cute, sweetie-pie, and always looked very innocent.
My sisters bird, Sprite would always try to start a fight, and she would just let him win.
But, the longer they knew each other, the more she'd start to act aggressive.
Though, she'd seem to still have that innocent charm when we were watching.

She'd get up to the front whenever someone went up to the cage,
and always acted like she was listening to everything you said.

Even though she was a little bit mean to Sprite, we knew she loved him.
And he loved her, as well.
They would always entertain each other,
and help each other in any way they could.

She used to be a shy, quiet bird.
But each year, she would get a little louder.

And she loved getting baths.
She'd always be up in the front, to get the first squirt of water on her belly.

She had a favorite toy.
A star, moon, and circle shapes that connected.
And had a little bell on the end.
She would play with that toy the whole time it was in the cage.
Even wouldn't let Sprite touch it.

Her favorite toy was put right next to her, in her grave.

She died of something unknown.
Apparently, it was just her time to go.

7-Up was buried under one of the trees in our backyard.

She will be missed by everyone who knows her.
Especially me Sprite, who probably took it the worse.

I'll never forget the day I looked into that small box, and saw a tiny bird scared to death of what was going on.
