On Sunday Feb 26 my world stopped & my angel was gone.
You had come home with us at 6 weeks & since that time had become my everything. You were mommies helper - either doing laundry, gardening, making supper, chasing the vacuum or sleeping in on weekends.
Words can not express how much I miss seeing your fuzzy face first thing in the morning & last thing at night or your doggie breath kisses to tell me you loved me.
You lived only 2 short years - but you left us with a lifetime of memories.
The 1st used to be so much fun - first night we brought you home, 1st walk, 1st time you didn't squat to pee - but managed to pee on your front legs & then shook daddy's hand, 1st bath, 1st night you got into bed on your own or made it up the stairs without being carried & how happy & proud you were to get on the couch all by yourself - Oh I miss our happy 1st!!
It's the 1st's now that I'm finding so hard - the 1st morning waking up without you hogging the bed, at Tim's Horton's & you not placing your tim bit order, the 1st day coming home at lunch & you not meeting me with a kiss & a stretch having just got out of bed and the 1st time coming home at night & not seeing your face in the window wondering what I'd picked up for you & telling me how much you missed me, or the happy voice & kiss that you would meet your many aunt's & uncle's at the door with.
You will forever be - mommies little man & daddies champion!
A friend sent us this card for Taz -
Rather than mourn the absent of the flame - Let us celebrate how brightly it glowed - that was my Tazzle!
