Most dog owners are aware that many dogs will eat almost anything. This is especially true of puppies and younger dogs. It is for this reason that houses need to be dog proofed or puppy proofed. Good house proofing will keep dogs away from medications, poisons inedible objects etc. and this is a great start. We know that even though dogs eat the weirdest stuff, the greatest temptation comes from foods that they are not supposed to eat. By now most dog owners know that chocolate is a MAJOR ‘no no’ and certain types of chocolate can actually kill a dog.

I love to chew holes in my owner's walls, woodwork and anything else I can get my teeth on. I really love my carrots and my best friend Hooch. I love to go for walks but I can't be the last one in line. I have to be in front no matter what. I won't eat if someone is watching me and I like to mess in the house if I am ticked off at my owner. My owner's love me but don't spend a whole lot of time with me and I miss them. I don't walk well on a leash because I pull. Sometimes so hard I pull them right off their feet. I also like to run off into the bush and give them a scare. I brought home a porcupine one night and BOY was I a mess but I didn't feel any pain. It cost a lot to get all the quills out and when I got home I was back out there looking for the porcupine to give it a piece of my mind. I really love to be cuddled and played with and would love to spend all my time with my owners but I can't.
