It is very important to keep the calories up in a sick patient since this is the time they need them the most. Nutritionists have calculated formulas for energy requirements for different sized animals that are healthy.

My name is Dozer. My new mom and dad brought me to my new house a couple days before Christmas. What a great Christmas present! I love to sleep, eat, play with my squeeky ball, wrestle with my new sister, Shelby, and run in the field by my new house. I'm a very curious little boy. I always have to know whats going on. My new parents laugh at me alot, but they tell me its because I'm so cute. I'm generally a very happy puppy, but I don't like it when my parents leave me home alone!
