Today’s domestic dog is still closely related to the wolf. Like all wolves living in a pack, dogs must be part of a stable family and feel safe. Most domestic behavioral problems occur when the dog is confused about how to act/behave in different situations such as your home or out on a walk.
It is recommended that you keep Fido confined no matter his age for at least the first month in your home. This will allow him to settle in more comfortably and adapt to your lifestyle. At the same time, confinement will reduce such misbehaviors as chewing and separation anxiety.

I might be small and a lightweight, but I am mighty! My mom loves my personality because I'm fearless! As I grow I'm learning and becoming smarter everyday! I make up for my smarts in my looks!
My favourite toy is my penquin and love to play fetch with my family! I love doing laps around the family room obstacle course. I love to cuddle and give kisses. I sleep with my mom and dad and I like to sleep in!
I love going for walks but not if it is too cold out, I'm a bit of a princess. I love having a tubby and going to the groomers!
June 2006 Update
I have a new baby brother!!! His name is Jed and he is the "puppy of the month" for June 2006! I'm happy sometimes that I have a playmate but other times I just like to be on my own doing my own thing! I am definetly the "good" dog in the house, hopefully some of my finer traits will rub off on the little devil!
I love going for car rides they are my favourite, I do this really fancy dance to let my Mom & Dad know that I would like to come along for the ride, they usually fall for it!
Other than that not much else going on..you know the usual, eat, drink, sleep & I'm happy!
