What is a Dog Whisperer – Pet tip 215
These days you hear a lot about the term ‘dog whisperer’ and most people associate the term with one particular dog trainer, Cesar Milan. Many people think that he created the term when in fact this is false. The term dog whisperer is actually a term borrowed from horse training, where certain trainers or horse whisperers seemed to be able to get horses to calm down and accept training or accept a rider on their backs. Their methods were often ‘quiet’ (as opposed to more traditional punitive techniques) to an observer as these trainers seemed to get results from quiet whispers. These days though, the term has been diluted and many people use the term loosely.

hello! I am Ripley. My mom rescued me, I was an unwanted puppy at one time, if you can believe it! I am a mamma's boy, although I am quite independent and don't cuddle a lot. I have a slightly older sister, Jessie. She is a 1 year old yellow lab and she is lots of fun to play with and tussle. I also love it when she kisses me and licks me. Jessie is a very affectionate sister, LOL. My papa named me Ripley, because I am a believe it or not puppy. My papa cannot believe that mom bought another puppy, when my older sister was only 7 months old at the time. Barely potty trained!! LOL. I love the dog park in our town and I love it when mommy and daddy take us to the lake across the street to swim and retrieve, or on bike rides near the lake...
