You are walking down the street and a black cat crosses your path. What do you do? Whether you dismiss it or not, many people think of it as some kind of a bad omen. Black cats and bad luck is a superstition that has lived on even in modern society. Past events, and present misconceptions of these cats keep this unfortunate stereotype alive.
Black is a colour that often brings an emotional response. What do you think of when you imagine this colour? Night, darkness, boring, no colour, dark, evil, scary are all common (and generally negative) words to describe black. This negative connotation of the colour black also applies to black cats. The portrait of the black cat as an omen of bad luck began with accusations of witchcraft and witch-hunts many years ago. It was believed that black cats had magical powers that allowed them to transform themselves into witches.

Hi! My Name is Myles. Lets see my first memory begins with my parents Mark and Stephanie picking my out of the litter of my brothers and sisters. I was one of the only ones left but my Mommy and Daddy liked me best of all. I hated the trip home in fact I climbed up on my Mommy seat and wouldn't come down until the car stopped. It was very snowy and cold. Then when I was a little older I got stuck behind the water heater in the closet for a while and Mommy and Daddy had to get the Landlord to get me out!!! I love my Mommy and Daddy very much and I love to cuddle with them. My favorite blanket is one that they got for Christmas the year they took me home and I claimed it!! I hate day old cat food and my water must be fresh or I will cry until you fix it. I love my purple and pink fuzzy toy but I always lose it under the couch. I love to chase Daddy around the apartment I wonder why he's so chicken?? I love to eat tuna juice and I love to pounce on my shadow. My favorite place to sleep is on my Mommy's pillow in the big bed, and I like to carry my toys around the apartment in my mouth, my daddy thinks I look like a doggy (I am much cuter then a smelly dog) I am my Mommy and Daddys only child and they love me very very much!
