We lost our much loved Dickens unexpectedly today. He loved to climb up a hill, lay down, and slowly, with the patience of Buddha, roll a ball with his nose off his paws for us to catch. A big, glamorous, blond that everyone wanted to pet, he tolerated cats, liked pizza, and adored balls, especially ones he magically found in bushes, exchanging them for the ones he all ready carried. His Monica and Terrance miss him deeply, and will always love him. We were the family of his old age, and hope we gave him at least a little of what he gave us. A great heart is silent.
