Pain aggression in dogs – Pet tip 257
Unfortunately the following two scenarios occur from time to time: You’re innocently petting your cat or dog when all of a sudden your pet bites you. The same reaction can happen when you pick up your cat or dog the way you always do, when all of a sudden it bites you. What is going on here? Your pet NEVER bites you, and now that you are trying to show it some love, it bites you. Has your pet gone mad? What might be going on here is pain induced aggression.
It seems so obvious after you bring your pet to a veterinarian to figure out what is going on, but it may be as simple as pain induced aggression. Pain induced aggression means that your pet has exhibited an aggressive behaviour because it is in pain. This is especially common in older pets that may be suffering from arthritis or perhaps one of their internal organs is bruised or diseased.

Hello. My name is Bailee. My dad named me after driving by a liquor store and thinking of Baileys Irish Cream.(Mom changed the spelling ) But that is OK because when I look in the mirror my name seems to fit me pretty well. I have lived with my new mom and dad for only 3 days now and I already know my name when they call for me. I have only had a few accidents in the house and that is only because mom and dad left me here with my big sister Gidget. Gidget is a mix breed too. She is part Chow and Chesepeke. We play together alot and when it seems like I am piercing her lip she doesn't get mad at me. I even bite her toes. My big brother Toby (he is a cat) doesnt' know what to think of me quite yet. He just like to hiss alot, but i growl back at him. My mom lets me sleep with her in her bed too. And I know my dad loves me already, he lets me lick him alot. Well since I am only a bit over 6 weeks old I am going to go and take nap now. Night, Night.
