duke surprises us everyday since we got him. we would expect a very dependent pup since he is only 5 weeks old. but duke is the complete opposite. infact he really let's you know what he wants. housetraining for example. we want him to get used to the newspaper....but he wants out. so its out he gets even in the middle of the night. he loves to snuggle up between us every night and wake his dad up to go peepee....good boy he never wakes up mom...lol...he is a bad licker....he licks my face til i cant breathe...i let him play with my friend's dog angel, they seem to get along very well. Angel is a lab mix and very motherly...she watches duke especially when they're alone together. i haven't tested him with cats yet so i can't sa for now. his fave toy is that BIG claw my friend gave me (houseslippers) he likes playing with that rather than all the toys i got for him. we loves to nap on the couch on daddy's pillow. he's a little stubborn but he's a very smart baby. he hates the housetraining spray.....i don't blame him....smells awful...lol
