Bootsi is a 13 year old DHS neutered male and came to us from a friend at the age of 8 weeks in 1992.
Boots is extreemly smart and loyal to us and his neighborhood friends. For a male he is not a fighter and settles confrontation by simply standing firm. He protects his friends the same way and simply moves bewteen the oposing felines.
As he is getting older now and has lost some of his friends, we have obtained from the local Humane Society in January of 2005 a 3 year old DHS neutered female friend by the name of Tanya as a companion.
She has been at Society for the past 15 month and needed a home badly. As she had a rough time prior to coming to the society, she has some behavioral issues which are slowly correcting themselves. She is extreemly smart and is slowly trusting us and as of late we can pet her, for short periods pick her up and she sleeps with us in bed. She seems to trust Bootsi and follows his every step. We are convident that in 6 month she will be fully comfortable with us.
