Jaws was a stray. I like to say that she adopted me, not the other way around, because I was never a cat person. I call her my "accidental" cat.
She's moved twice with me, once to another country. In that time, she's mellowed from her "wildness" and become a true friend... Even if she is a bit spinny. (White cats, you know. Calm one second, homicidal the next.) It wasn't until I was composing this that I realized how old she is - she's still quite playful, almost kitten-like.
She knows the value of a warm lap and a regular meal time, and pays us back in love and affection. I love her, the little freak.
