Congenital hairlessness in cats is an extremely rare trait. Essentially, a hairless cat is the result of genetic mutations in one or more of the genes which encode for normal hair development. While the word ‘mutation’ implies that this genetic condition is unwanted and accidental, there are actually many breeders who select specifically for the hairlessness trait and work to maintain the hairless lineage in their cats.

My name is RACER , i got my name from my dad, he ......loves nascar, i also have the letter R marking on my side......thats my initial. i used to think i was a tuff guy...untill i lost my claws and stuff(now my dad calls me the balless,clawless kitty). I like to race around the house and play chase with my sister lucy, she taught me how to fetch,and now i fetch all the time for my dad ,my favorite pass time is watchin the birds from our window and gettin into things that dont belong to me. i never had any embarassing moments........yet. my favorite lounging spots are where ever lucy is layin at the time....hehehe i love to bug her,but she loves it .
