The loss of Adanac has left a hole in our hearts the size of the moon. He was our protector and friend. We have another German Shepherd, Nitro that misses him terrribly. They were close to a year apart in age and Adie as we called him, treated Nitro with love and patience as if he were Nitro's Mother. Adie would not go to sleep at night until he checked to be sure that everybody was tucked in safely and then he would lie down.
We are trying to decide whether to get another dog but there will never be another Adanac. He was abused for the first 6 months of his life and inspite of that neglect and abuse he still turned out to be a wonderful loving pet. He was like my shadow. I am an incomplete parapelegic and I was never afraid of anything when Adie was with us. We will never find another like him.
He will be loved and missed till eternity. Adie we love and miss you.
