Water is the elixir of life and it is essential to all living things. Our pets need to have access to water at all times and their water bowls should be filled with fresh water every single day. When our pets don’t get enough water dehydration can occur. Sometimes though, our pets drink too much water and although we know that water is good for our pets, too much is too much. Serious health problems can occur when our pets drink too much water. Sometimes the reason they drink so much stems from psychological or behavioural problems; other times the reason is medical. Either way, drinking too much water is dangerous for pets.
When a pet drinks too much water, its urinary system is also affected. What goes in must come out so thirst and urination are naturally linked.

My name is Shaggy. I live in a small town in Newfoundland called Raleigh,but I came from the big city of Edmonton. I moved to Raleigh when I was 5 months old and I enjoy every minute there. I have so much freedom here, I can go and visit my friends and come back when I please. I love spending time outside, especially when my mom and dad takes me to the cabin or open fires. I just love to party. I love swimming, every chance I get, I'm in the water. In the winter, I love riding on ski-doo and sometimes I get in the sleigh with my nan and pop.I also like going on trips. I traveled all the way to Lloydminister, Alberta this past year to visited with my cousin Mokey. She is a year younger than me and she sure drives me crazy. She is always trying to bite my ears, sometimes she does and it mades me cry, but I usually get her back. My family says that I am very bad. I get mad when they leave me home alone, I also get mad when my cousin Muffin gets all the attention and I don't get none, but over all, I am such a good and lovable puppy. I know that my mom and dad love me so much and I love them. One thing that I know that is true about me is this "I was born to be bad."
