An accomplished rodent chaser, Fred patrols the woods daily. When asked we are fond of telling people that he is a 'Laurentian Squirrel Hound' as befits his noble carriage and devotion to policing the local tree-dwellers. At home his breed is referred to as 'The Snouty' (and Fred as 'King Snouty') for his habit of having his in everything that it doesn't belong in : ) One day we'd like to breed Fred with another dachshund-terrier cross as he is such a wonderful friend and companion.
