Pet Tip

Pain aggression in dogs – Pet tip 257

Unfortunately the following two scenarios occur from time to time: You’re innocently petting your cat or dog when all of a sudden your pet bites you. The same reaction can happen when you pick up your cat or dog the way you always do, when all of a sudden it bites you. What is going on here? Your pet NEVER bites you, and now that you are trying to show it some love, it bites you. Has your pet gone mad? What might be going on here is pain induced aggression.

It seems so obvious after you bring your pet to a veterinarian to figure out what is going on, but it may be as simple as pain induced aggression. Pain induced aggression means that your pet has exhibited an aggressive behaviour because it is in pain. This is especially common in older pets that may be suffering from arthritis or perhaps one of their internal organs is bruised or diseased.

Hi
I am Ben, I lived at my Owners House 6 year, till they gave me away. First I was frustrated that I can't be with my old family, but today I know why they had to gave me away, I am not really healthy, I got problems with breathing, because my lungs are to small and I can't walk stairs so much, however my family moeved to canada (from Germany) I could'n fly with a plain because they didn't know if I would be alive when I am in Canada. So they found a new nice home for me, with a child and to nice people. I miss my old family and I think they miss me too, but I am alive thats good. I like kids, I like dogs and cats. I like almost everything. I am not a big eater, I like to eat dry food and sometimes some toast without anything on it. What I can remeber of my old family was one day, when "I" hit a car, it sounds funny, I hit a parking car, everybody was laughing at me, after that I never touched a car again. I know that I was a big help for my owners, I was there for them when they needed someone to hug. I think that is almost everything, what was important. I just can ssay never hurt your owner, it is the most important thing for you on the world, but never let hurt you too much.
Bye reader
Love Ben
