Ginger was my first dog. I was 3 when my dad brought him home. He was my companion while I was growing up and a true member of my family. He lived an extremely long life and taught me respect and love for animals. He was very gentle and loving dog and I was as protective of him as he was for me. I still miss him and he will always hold a special place in my heart.
