yorkie in trouble
hi,
my yorjie started vomiting and having loose stools, was very not with it. we took her to the vet and they are "watching her". i tried to think what could have made her sick. then it hit me. last week i sprayed the cobblestone courtyard in front of ourr house with weed killer. even though it is not an area that she frequents, she does walk on it to get back into the house, always leashed. i wonder if this could have been the culprit? could this have been my fault and will she be effected adversely from this. the vet said it could have been anything. thanks |

Hello paul dz.
Did her illness begin last week, or just very recently? I had pesticide poisoning when I was much younger and it began within hours of becoming exposed. Has your vet done any tests yet? It's only a tummy upset and she's back to herself in no time.

I would recommend that you bring the bottle of weed killer to your vet. They can look at the ingredients and call the 1 800 number on the bottle. I have done this many times. Having the container it came in is very helpful because some the weed killers have the same overall name with different concentrations. Thus the container is very very helpful.
Best of luck.
