You all asked, threatened, and begged a little so here goes...

So I will attempt to post some pictures now...this is my first time posting pics here so please bear with me if they do not work...haha..

This is Luna my female piebald great dane..she has been with us for about 7 months and she will be getting spayed this spring.

This is Havoc my male blue great dane....he has been with us since he was just a wee baby.

This is Havoc sleeping with our little yorkie Tia...she has been with us for about 5ish months I believe.

Your danes are gorgeous.

My parents also have a HUGE black dane that they adopted at a shelter about 5 years ago. He is a tough dog but for them he is wonderful. Turned out to be the neighbourhood watch dog actually. The houses infront of and next to my parents were robbed...except ours.

Funny thing with the dane is that you can go into the home...but you CANNOT leave..... After all these years I can finally touch him without being growled at.

Have to say that danes are a majestic breed.

BM , you must have said something he didn't like when you first met him because he loved ME

rane , they're all adorable , the one where Tia is sleeping beside Havoc is too cute.

I also have 2 big dogs , one medium and a tiny one (a Pom) , the Pom rules the 2 big ones. Is it the same with Tia ?

Thanks all!! I love em to pieces.

BenMax if you met Havoc you might change the thought of magestic...big and goofy yes...majestic not so much...haha! He definately has personality though and is alot of fun!! Havoc stands 36 inches at shoulder and weighs about 150lbs and he will not be 2 years old until June so he is a big guys for sure.

14+, thanks so much...and you were all very sweet in asking demandingly.

Frenchy, yes Tia rules the roost...she drives the danes crazy! She likes to wait until they are sleeping and then she licks the inside of their nose...haha wakes up both up and they grumble.

Haha thanks all!! Tia the yorkie really is tiny as well as Havoc being really big. Tia weighs 3.7lbs and Havoc is 150lbs. He is very gentle with her and we did have one issue with them sleeping together before Tia got wise. She would lay right by his back foot and leg and he would start to dream and before she could open her eyes and move he kicked out his leg and sent her into the wall...she yelped but was not hurt and now she watches him a little closer when he starts to wiggle and she sleeps by his back or head where she is safe...hehe.

Yorkie? What Yorkie? It's pretty easy to miss. It even looks camouflaged to blend in with the Dane. Lovely dogs, Rane. Does Luna have black anywhere on her body because if not she has rather unique markings. I adore the blue Danes.

Benmax, cattle dogs do that too, though they're happiest if they can scare someone into climbing a tank stand to get away from them . A visitor to our local dog ranger's home spent 2 hours perched on the tank stand waiting for him to come home after his cattle dog "treed" the fellow. If they're going to bite it'll be a hurry up nip as the visitor heads for the gate usually.

Thanks all for all the wonderful comments about my kids...makes me beam with pride. And for those of you that laughed at Tia being launched...I was laughing hysterically when it happened so please continue laughing.......the expression on her face was priceless...sort of a "What the heck just happened" look.

Goldfields...Luna has a black spot on the middle of her tail as well and then a few random black spots the size of thumbprints. She is what they call a piebald.
