It's been a long 10 months without my Lady G. Gone, but certainly not forgotten!
We've had some nice, cool weather here lately. When the temps dropped, you'd see her running all around the yard and climbing trees. Bucking and acting all silly. She was as fast as lightning. That girl loved to play. And it was a lot of fun playing with her. I love you punkin!

Sounds like the cold weather brought out her zoomie mood!
 She was lucky to share her life with you in a state where there wasn't too much snow! Our cats have stopped even asking to go out for walks now that we have snow on the ground! Instead, they're zooming inside. JD knocked over and broke my monitor last night doing a zoomie run over the computer table  I'll bet Lady G. had better manners!

11 long months have passed without Lady G. by my side, and I still miss her like crazy.
A small rose bloomed 2 or 3 days ago on one of her 3 rose bushes. Seeing those roses bloom always puts a smile on my face. I love you dearly Lady G.!

Glad to hear Lady G.'s roses are still blooming! I think it's a sign she's keeping watch over you and she wants you to smile.
We have a foot of snow on the ground--I can't even see the gardens at this point--and anything in bloom would be a miracle!!

A year ago today, I got the awful news about my dear, Lady G. It's been a difficult year without her. And I still occasionally get upset, but things have improved a little. I still think of her every single day, and often. I will do so for the rest of my life. I will never forget this sweet, little girl. My best friend! Ever!

Yep, we're under 'safer at home' protocols in WI, but we're also out in the country. Turns out we've been living under that protocol for decades now and didn't know it! Didn't have to change anything, except stand further apart in lines when we absolutely have to do some shopping.
Glad you've missed out on the severe weather so far! We got 9 inches of snow on Sunday, which is fun--a small respite from Mud Season...

2 years ago today, and Still missing her like crazy! That will never change, but I am not hurting nearly as bad any more. Finally! Time does heal our pain. It does get better! For those of you who are having an extremely difficult time right now, you've just got to hang in there. I know that's been said a lot, but it's worth repeating. It does get better!
