First Fosters

As some of you know Saturday was SUPPOSE to be my last day with my fosters Charlie, Tips, Bambi, and Boots, but didn't work out that way. I was taking pictures between tears and hugs, before they left.

Boots lying on the floor, note the tummy she is starting to accumulate

It is very difficult to get all four in one picture, but managed.

Tips and Bambi, they are watching Charlie play with some pompoms under the coffee table.

A co worker gave me a bedroom for my new fosters but the current fosters had to check it out:

Charlie would not come out once she stole it from Bambi:

No momma, I am not coming out and you can't make me.

I am gonna kill this mousie no matter what.

Tips close up, she is the runt of the litter and kind of a loner, so naturally I ended up being so protective over her when Sweet Pea would do her "I told you before, get the heck away from me NOW" routine

So cute!!! You did such a good job with them!

So what's the deal? You said Saturday was 'supposed to be' their last day with you? They came back?

I'm totally out of the loop here. I gotta start checking out more kitty threads. Is there a thread somewhere? If it has lots of pictures in it, I'll likely not be able to get into it, though...

It is roomy, a fairly large cat could sleep in it, not Vlad's size though, lol.

It is a Godsend for the new fosters, they just love their new bed.

Wanna bet. He'd stuff himself in there no problem.

Do they sleep in there together? I remember the first couple of weeks I had Maks and Kiska, they would always sleep together.

Yes, the two new fosters, Malcom and Matilda do cuddle up with each other. They remind me of two terrified babies that only have each other:sad:

Aww, I really hope when the time comes they are adopted together. Watching how much they cling to each other like that, makes it hard for us to imagine them being separated.

Of course, we will need pictures of them cuddling

The humane society L4H fosters for takes them to Global Pet foods after fostering where they stay until adoption but the humane society got more cats in so they took the space her fosters were going to go into, so they came back after s/n instead of going to Global

There is an empty kitty condo cage this morning, so I will be running home this morning to get my babies.

One of the conditions of my fostering is that they go to Global in Kingston to be adopted. The owners are the best and allow the kittens to run free for play time and I can have them fed what ever I want, so no Royal Canin for them.

When Brownie, a kitten from Sweet Pea's litter was there, they forgot to lock her up at night and she set off the security alarm, lol.

Don't be so sad L4H, Hopefully the pet store is as stringent as the HS in their adoption policy and they will find wonderful homes. This frees you up to carry on the wonderful work you do for these kitties, you know all too well that without foster homes lots of kitties would not make it to this stage. Kudos to you

They are going off to be adopted to wonderful homes. If it weren't for you, they would not have even had that opportunity. I wish I had the strength you do to foster.

Global pet foods does get very good clients, they don't carry cheap food so shoppers are somewhat educated on pet nutrition.

I love the pics of Charlie in the new bed.

It must be heartbreaking for you to see them go again but it sounds like they could not have gone to a better place for adoption.

Now you have another important job to do with Malcolm and Matilda. .......looking forward to the new pics.
