Need a border collie

Need a border collie!!!!!! I have one of the brightest border collies around. My daughters friend is from a single income family that is seeking a dog just like mine. Her mom is a single mom that doesn't have much money but is in love with this type of dog. Her daughter is 14 and her son is 3. They would enjoy this so much. They love mine and would like one of their own. We live in Winnipeg, Mb, Canada. Does anyone have one out there that they could part with for next to nothing for 2 sweet adorable kids that would love it to death. Please email if you know anything that might help.

PLEASE also try your local SPCA. BC's and BC crosses are a dime a dozen in Manitoba I'm told.

I realize the lady's funds are limited, but I have to wonder if she can't afford to pay under $100 for a dog (SPCA or Pound prices) how will she be able to afford any vaccinations, if needed? Or future dental work, if needed? Or emergency visits? Obedience classes, if needed. Almost every time you step into a Vet's office nowadays, your wallet be lighter by $100 or so.

Too many people get a dog with no understanding of the responsibilities. It's quite an undertaking. Not just a bag of generic food and a tennis ball.
