Question Best pellet budgie food?

Hello I am hoping to switch my budgie from Hagens original blend budgie seed to a pellet diet. From what I understand seeds are not extremely healthy for budgies so I was hoping to find a nutritional pellet brand for her. Does anyone have suggestions?

Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of current members who have birds, Jesterben.

Pelleted diet are a good idea, as they are more balanced than seed diets. I used to feed Tropican. You can supplement the seed diet with a product called Prime (smells great, but don't taste it... it's nasty!), just in case you end up needing to stick with it. Make sure you're not switching over instantly. Slowly introduce the pelleted diet to your budgie. Some refuse to switch, so don't be upset if you're budgie prefers seed

Another thing to remember is just because the pellet is more balanced doesn't mean you should skip on the fruits and veggies, cooked pasta, etc.
