Question Dog coughing up blood help

Over the past couple months I've noticed a clear bloody fluid where my 7 year old dog sleeps. I've seen it maybe 5 or 6 times. The vet said everything looks fine and was not concerned. Has anyone else had this experience? She also coughs sometimes and seems to hyperventilate especially when she's in bed.

I would get an immediate second opinion.

From your brief description, sounds like it may be heart congestion or pleurisy problems or any number of things. Blood in sputum is always serious if it occurs over time.

Please see another Vet asap.

I agree, Lovemydog125. If your current vet seems unconcerned, time to get a second opinion. I hope all turns out well!
