Just finished reading ( and highly recomend)
Just thought I'd give two good reviews about two great books I recently finished.
The first is a classic on operant conditioning in all animals (including humans) written by Karen Pyror, a world class dolphin trainer and animal behaviouralist. The book is titled ," Don't Shoot The Dog, the new art of teaching and training". I highly recomend it for all pet owners, from cats to parrots to dogs. The second is written by Patricia B.McConnel, Ph.D and is titled," For The Love Of A Dog". This piece focuses on the biology behind emotions in animals including our best friends, backed up with case studies and century's of study supporting the complexity of emotions in dogs. Both are great, affordable reads and I really enjoyed both. Kayla

I'm a big fan of Karen Pryor's work. If you already haven't done so, check out her website http://www.clickertraining.com/. It has some really good videos and other resources.
