BenMax for both Olive and you. You know all of these little angels come into our lives to teach us something. So many people will learn the value of a true and generous heart from reading how you are trying to help this sweet girl. Perhaps that is her mission in life. To open more eyes to the need. Be strong my friend. Is this rescue Gerty's? I'd be happy to send a small donation directly there if it will help (like with Maddox - who by the way we need pics of...).

Indeed the same rescue. I need to find out more about her condition before any donations will be accepted at this point. If she will live then of course, if not then there really is not much point. Thank you dear friend.

I will keep everyone updated when I find out more news. Still waiting for the vet to call me.

Oh and yes - I will get some Maddox photos up shortly. He is a great boy. Thanks for helping me help him. He does afterall belong to so many people here at pets who helped him recover. I certainly owe you that.

Complete kidney failure. G is there right now helping her over the bridge. Our vet has decided that it is more humane this way.

Thank you all for wonderful wishes and good will. I appreciate this more than words can express.

I feel absolutely horrible.. I will remember her fondly with our midnight walks outside. Her tender headbutts and her little face. My heart is heavy with sorrow.

Thank goodness G is with her right now. I don't think I have the strength for this right now. I will open an Olive thread tomorrow to commemorate her. She was someone.

I have to stop reading these at work. I'm in tears now. BM I'm so sorry to hear that Olive has gone to the bridge. But she went knowing love, and knowing that not all humans have failed her. Thank you all very much. It was a tough night. Interesting that I did not have her long but she will be very missed.

Funny how us animal lovers will embrace other's throw aways. Funny how we try our best to right a wrong while others do not give a damn as to what happens.

I am not feeling sorry for myself, but I am certainly very angry that this little girl who loved her people so much shut down like that as so many do. And not one phone call to ask how she is or if she was ever adopted. I don't understand people. I don't understand why so many of us put ourselves in positions like this to deal with the sorrow, the guilt and the pain. Why?

Sorry I am so sour. I am just heartbroken as I wanted so much for her to continue life's journey.

Ignor my spewing. I thank my good friends here at Pets that have been more trustworthy, more loving and more concerned than anywhere I have been.

I love you all so much. And I am grateful to have your support and tender words.
