Awww, Aaaaaalviiiiiinnnn .

Lucky is just so much easier to photograph, BenMax . The three girls are always too busy shmoozing for either affection or food .

Did I mention how much I appreciate you taking so much time to win over Lucky's trust, Marko? Not too long after everyone arrived, I could read that he was getting increasingly anxious and was afraid he would want to escape to his crate downstairs and miss out on the party. You did an amazing job and brought Lucky one step closer to coping with strangers in a crowd . Thank you!

You are right LP - I took a special liking to Lucky; what a sweet timid dooger.
I see lots of timid dogs and i try to let them know that they are special. I'm sure Lucky will do even better with strangers over the next few months!

What I wish we could do is arrange for some kind of convention of Pets.Ca members, somewhere central, maybe over the weekend or something, like find a nice hotel or resort or something, that would give a nice group discount, and make it a Pet.ca getaway.

But that would mean people would have to spend all kinds of money on plane tix and hotel stay...and that is just not feasible. Also leaving the furries behind...

Anyway, a girl could dream, no?

What could be done one day is East Coast, West-Coast get-togethers, and a video-conference to communicate to each other.

There were TONS of pitties there last year. But sadly they all had to be muzzled. The one sad thing last year is that some idiot had a muzzle on his pittie and the heat was almost unbearable last year. The emergency personal had to give the dog assistance with breathing because of the muzzle it had on. It was an enclosed type muzzle. Made me sick because after they gave the dog assistance they told the owner to take the dog home because of the extreme heat and the idiot refused!! They finally escorted him home.

I am hoping the weather will be better this year. They had a great set up though for heat and doggies. They had pools all over the place and hoses to hose your pupper down!

All in all it is a great day!

I'm sorry I was under the impression that you can't bring Pitties from out of Province.
I'm glad to hear that Pitties were at least represented last year, albeit in muzzles.
I have never muzzled my Pitgirls, and I really wouldn't want to. I wish we had a "Woofstock" here out West.

You are right LMPG, you can't bring your pits into Ontario. Even just traveling through the province. Very sad indeed.
