I need help re barking

Sam has been doing great lately except he barks when no one is home.

hes not allowed to bark in the hosue when im home, we hush him any time he tries, tho honestly he hasnt tried unprovoked[read me not teasing him] in over 6 months

today my neighbor complained that he was barking when no one was home.

how do I stop this behaviour if im not home to correct him?

he has his kong and several toys, I leave the tv on for background noise

most the time I come home and he is dozing in my bed to be honest.

anyone have any thoughts??

thanks

Eleni
