Tips, boarding my dog for the first time
It's only for 2 nights (Saturday morning until Monday afternoon) as we are going out of the country, but I've never been away from him like that before
![]() ![]() I will bring his food (special gastro food for his tummy troubles), his crate, his blanket, his ducky, what else??? ![]() It's so hard for me, LOL. We flew him to Quebec in cargo last summer and I refuse to do it again. It was way too hard for him (frightening experience). |

Any existing separation anxiety or other neuroses? If not and if he is used to crating, he should be fine.
A tip I can recommend: I have found sending dawgs with a pair of worn (read:stinky ![]() ![]() |

Did you get to tour the boarding kennel, shibamom? Might set your heart at ease about leaving him there if you see it.

Another tip: I recently cat sat for friends who had never left Twiggy alone before and although they know I'm reasonably competent and occasionally sane
