Now that is weird. (Cat breeds listed on site.)

So I'm looking at various pet insurance sites, comparing plans. And I go to PetsHealth's site and start filling out information for a quote.

They have two choices, purebred or mixed. Okay, so I click "mixed" for Remy and a list of choices drop down for me to choose from.

The choices are:

Alley cat
American Longhair
Calico
Domestic Longhair
Domestic Mediumhair
Mixed cat
Tabby

. . . . . what? Where's the domestic shorthair? And calico made the list? Alley cat? What?

LOL...that's funny.

DSH is probably the most common of them all. Maybe that's what they are calling an alley cat.

Maybe they use it to descriminate because "alley cats" have had a tough life and might be prone to health problems? More likely sounds like someone just felt like saying alley cat http://gamescene.com/alleycat_game.html Google is amazing.
