Now that is weird. (Cat breeds listed on site.)
So I'm looking at various pet insurance sites, comparing plans. And I go to PetsHealth's site and start filling out information for a quote.
They have two choices, purebred or mixed. Okay, so I click "mixed" for Remy and a list of choices drop down for me to choose from. The choices are: Alley cat American Longhair Calico Domestic Longhair Domestic Mediumhair Mixed cat Tabby . . . . . what? Where's the domestic shorthair? And calico made the list? Alley cat? What? LOL...that's funny.
![]() DSH is probably the most common of them all. Maybe that's what they are calling an alley cat. ![]() |

Maybe they use it to descriminate because "alley cats" have had a tough life and might be prone to health problems? More likely sounds like someone just felt like saying alley cat
