Has anyone ever used a service like “Pet-Meds” for purchasing their pet’s medications on-line???
I am with Westie Rescue of Canada and we have a little Westie who is on Cyclosporine for his skin allergies. The vet charges us $266.76 plus tax for the bottle that lasts his foster family about 2 months. I just called Pet-Meds (located in Florida..is there a Canadian company???) and they offer the same size of bottle for $94.99 US plus $19.99 shipping, and they will call the Vet and get the prescription changed for us??? This could save our rescue group some money! Anyone have any experience with using one of these on-line pet medication companies??? |

I think a better (and probably easier) idea would be to ask the vet to write a prescription for the Cyclosporine, which you can then have filled at any pharmacy. The vet may charge a small fee for this, but it should still work out to be much cheaper.

Hey Corrie. I've ordered from them before, I actually found a coupon code to save a few bucks and get free shipping (to BC, which was nice). If you do end up buying from them, use the coupon code PETE and you get 10% off anything you buy, and if you spend 39USD+ you get free shipping, too. Hope this helps you
