Sweet Roxy needs a family , Montreal area

Woof Woof,

I snuck in here to write about me, my foster mom is too sad to do it.

I am a 4 ˝ year old spayed female rottweiler with a heart of gold, as I keep hearing.

I am a very good girl, I listen, I sleep, and I am clean. By the way my name is Roxy, I think, because my foster mommy keeps calling me sweetie.

I love kids, can I tell you again how much I love kids…I will say it again in case you did not hear me, I love kids.

Right now I am living with a child, and 2 cats, and a crazy dog.

I do not mind dogs, but I much prefer for them to leave me alone, I want all the attention to myself.

If you already have a dog, I can easily adjust but please only if older and calm.

I will be having a little biopsy done soon, my foster mommy found some mammary cysts, they just want to make sure all is well.

My foster mommy keeps telling me how great I am, I wonder why ???? Maybe because I do not go on furniture or the bed unless called, I am clean in the house, and I calmly love everyone, unlike my crazy foster brother.

With my loving, and calm demeanor, I do not know why my other family did not want me.

I am not used to playing or eating things like rawhide, but I am learning quickly what those things are.

I will never be a very active dog, but I will fit into just about anyone’s life.

Oh wait have to go, my foster mommy wants to add something…..Paws out from me



Hi, my name is Karen, and I am Roxy’s foster mommy

I have never had such a great dog in my home.

The best way to describe her would be a soon to be therapy dog.

Roxy and my daughter have bonded, and I would like the family she goes into to have children, she would not do well without them.

She is a calmer dog, and would not make a good play mate for another dog, she looks to people for attention.

I would love for her to find the home she very well deserves.

She seems like a wonderful pup,wish I was in a position to give her a home.
But for now,at least she is in a very loving home,not in a cage at the SPCA.

Keep in mind that , many people will wait a bit before adopting. It's spring and there's mud everywhere , some people prefer to wait :sad:

Believe me I am in no rush, nor a great hurry to have her leave. It has been my honor of fostering this beautiful dog.
I am positive her furever home is out there, jst have to find it.

My thoughts are with you and poor Roxy tonite. I know she'll be OK and the procedure should be relatively painless, but it's still hard to think about what she's wondering tonite.....but before you know it, she'll be back with you safe and sound!

OK, I called her at 3pm...She was awake, barely. LOL
She is not panicking, they said they will feed her at 3 pm, but I am not sure if she will eat.
But she came through like a trooper, I can not wait to meet up with Frenchy to bring her home tomorrow.
