I have no words. There is no way to thank you for this. You captured every little detail of his scruffy little face, right down to his funny little undershot bite... and more than that, you captured him, you captured Tommy. I love it so much and I don't even know how to thank you. This is truly one of the most touching gestures, one of the most amazing things anybody has ever done for me.

I'll take a picture of it in a little while, for now I'm just holding it and thinking of my boy and having a good cry over memories of him and the absolute kindness of strangers.

Oh, that is just lovely for you, Tommysmum. Know how much you'd appreciate this because my sister did a lovely portrait of my favorite cattle dog that passed away back in '95. I smile every time I look at it.
Hugs for you 14+K and any artist who can bring such joy to people grieving for their lost fur babies.
