American staff in shelter for a long time :(

BRONX - ID#A069505
www.torontohumanesociety.com
I am a neutered male, br brindle and white american staff mix.

The shelter thinks I am about 3 years old.

I have been at the shelter since Oct 03, 2003.
This information is less than 1 hour old.
Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Don't worry if you see me jumping up in my cage. I'm just showing off my athleticism and trying to get you to notice me! Though I'm a little bit shy when you first meet me, I am very loving and affectionate once I get to know you. I am seeking a home where I will be the only pet. If you are experienced and familiar with my breed, give me a chance because I'm a wonderful guy!

We saw this guy on our first visit to the Humane Society. He really is a beautiful dog.

He was just coming back from a walk and he planted himself firmly on the ground right at the entrance and was refusing to go back in . The walker had to take him around the back to try to coax the poor guy in. When we came out of the dog room about 20 minutes later he was planted again right at the entrance to the room refusing to go in.

Poor guy really does not want to be there anymore.

Jeepers creepers that wasn't a nice thing to see huh!

Well atleast they didn't force him in drag him...but I bet he knew that which is why he planted his tushie on the floor lol

Lets hope he gets a wonderful home where he won't be caged up anymore!!
