What breed of dog are these?
By bf sent me this picture. Its the type of dog he would like to get next. (Later down the road) Anyone know the breed and any info on typical qualities these little guys may have?

They look like Silky Terriers to me.

It's hard to find a good picture to post for you, but if you "Google" Silky Terrier, you should be able to see some pictures that resemble the one you posted. Be forewarned though, thier coats are a chore to keep neat.
The ones in your picture look like they've had haircuts.

Yorkie, Silky, they are along the same lines I think! They are cute. I refer to them as Pocket Pets!

They are sooo cute, and funny you say pocket pets, because a couple months ago he was talking about wanting a Mastiff! Huge size difference there! I think he wants these little terriers because they are more Belles size and she could have a play mate and they are adorable!

My mom in law has a yorkie, (since puppy).
I just recomend you do your homework, as my mom in laws is very aggressive with ALL other animals, she also has attacked my son on a regular basis, totally unprovoked (she get very jealous when anyone goes near my MIL). I personal would prefer a mastiff, if you want a less agressive dog

Ive always liked bigger dogs myself. Belle desperatly needed a home, and I had one, which is why we got her! We will definatly research before any decisions are made. We prefer older/senior rescued dogs. Not enough time for a little pup. The last thing I would want is an agressive jelous dog! Thanks for letting me know, I have no idea about this breed.

Yes, the others may be right here. They could be, in fact, Yorkie's instead of Silky's. Either way, they're sure cute!

I would definately say Silky...The reason being,the Yorkies ears are smaller...

Terriers
They look to me to be adult Yorkshire terriers. I always thought Silkies was another word for Yorkshire but I may be wrong.
They range in size and these look to be on the larger end. They are terriers and will require lots of work both in their grooming and training.

Those are Silky's for sure. I have an almost 5 month old Silky - and he is a jem!!
He is not aggressive at all, he is very social with other people and animals. He is a great little guy. He has lots of energy for play, but is great for cuddling as well. They are larger then the Yorkies and their coat turns silver as they grow up. ~Sarah

they are silky terries i have groomed enought of them lol. they will only be that big too so if u want a small dog they woukld be a good canadit.
