Miniature Schnauzer - FRENCH book?

It's a pity on me I know....although I do speak French at a decent level and read French...I'm lousy at researching in French.

I just spent 15 minutes looking for a FRENCH book on Miniature Schnauzers...and found nothing.

My In-laws only read French and they are getting a puppy Miniature Schnauzer in about 2 weeks. Can anyone suggest or help me with a link to a French book on Miniature Schnauzers?

Thanks in advance!

Marko

I think I've seen French breed specific books at a Montreal Wally World (Wal Mart) pet section when I used to live there, but that was a few years ago. Sorry but I don't remember which area, but think it was somewhere in ville LaSalle.

hey thanks Frenchy and CearaQC!

That info on the site is pretty good Frenchy...but the books are all English. Actually that whole site looks like an English site that was translated...so all the books on it are English...

I'll take a look at Wally World...Thx!

There's a book called "Le Schnauzer" on ebay and Amazon.fr (by V. Rossi)... It's not exclusively about Mini Schnauzer's though. Here's the link:

IMO, most breed specific books aren't helpful with regards to training, socialization and behaviour... So if that's what they need, a different book might be helpful. Sorry I can't make suggestions here but I don't think the one's I like have been translated into french

Renaud Bray has a half decent selection of francophone books on dogs. They may have Les Schnauzers, by Dr. Joel Dehassse and published by Le Jour, Editeur. If they are out of stock, they frequently order from this publisher so just ask the employee responsible. You'll also find a lot of breed specific books at Mondou (the one here in Greenfield Park has many).

If your in-laws are looking for some other good books in French, Comme Un Chien, Propos et reflexions sur le chien, l'humain et le lien qui les unit, by Jean Lessard, is a wonderful read. There's also L'Education Du Chien, also by Dr. Joel Dehasse.
