Infection spreading
Hi,
Seems my 15 year old female cat has ingrown/infected front paws.
On both legs, the middle nail seems to be infected.
The vet clipped them, then on Thursday gave an antibiotic needle.
Cat is still weak, nail area smells of infection still.
Soaking in salt water and putting peroxide on both nails often.
Any ideas to help kitty can back on her feet?
Edit* = I just went to clean the paws again and notice the back paw now is infected too, looks like there's a wound right where the nail begins.
I'm thinking this is more serious that ingrown nails at this point.
