Hi! Are you sure it was wax that came out? Ear mite poop looks like dark coffee grounds. When you treat your cat, you should treat them all, so as it doesn't pass back and forth. Or, it could be a yeast type of infection, that is what my Maya suffers from frequently and only in one ear. I have been told you can flush the ear safely with apple cider vinegar diluted 50/50 with water and squeeze a vitamin E gel tablet into the mix, still, visit the vet because you don't want it to get out of hand and do serious damage.
