This subject has quickly hit very close to home for me too!
Last night, my husband told me he had a sad story to tell me. I did not want to hear it, but he told me anyways, on how that evening he was driving on a new busy road in Orangeville, and he saw a small animal walking in the ditch. He thought it was a kitten. So he stopped and got out of the car, and it was a very malnourished chihuahua. He tried to capture it, but it ran away. I of course, was so extremely mad at him that he did not try harder. I can't stop thinking of this poor chihuahua, and now today it is pouring, and i wonder if he made it through the night. When he told me this story, all i could think of was the story "i found your dog today". So much that i want to take pieces of it, and put it in the classifieds of my local newspaper (But i don't know if it is legal - and then i have to find which paragraphs to include to get my message across without making it too long). Any advice or help on that would be appreciated.
And finally, Mom Of Rotties, thank you so much for taking in the dog. I don't even know you or the dog, but that just means so much to me.
