Well yesterday to my surprise a stray dog was walking up my driveway. I quickly went out milkbones in hand and got her to come into the fenced yard. She was soaked and very hungry. When she was comfortable with me I looked her over. She is tatooed so I called the SPCA to trace her. They have her owners on record and gave them a call. She is still at my house, seems the owners do not speak English so they are having a hard time talking. From the sounds of things they do not want her and dropped her off on the side of the highway. She is gorgeous.Shepard/chow mix. Her name is Lacey and she gets along great with my other dog. Have no idea what is going to happen but we have told the SPCA that we will take her. Just have to wait and see what happens.Some people are just IGNORANT....
