Speaking as a parent, I'd appreciate being told if my children were feeding your dog through the fence, or even just tossing their sticks over once they're done. If you speak with the children, they most likely won't take you very seriously - who the heck are you, after all?
Are the parents reasonable people? Or are they the neighbors from heck?
