Aww so cute!!!! Any chippies around here quickly become hawk fodder. :( I had a black squirrel here for about three weeks or so. Hubby saw a hawk grab him. :( I know they have to eat too but man....

14+,we don't get Hawks in the summer,maybe the odd one and here they get the Pigeons not the Squirrels.
I hate to see a Hawk grab anything,but like you say,they have to eat:(

Awwww...he is to cute, we call them Chipmunks around here, I had 3 babies a few years ago I fed them with a little ear dropper and milk, they had lost their mom and I had to take over.
The funny thing was when they got big enough to let go they returned a few times a day to get some goodies from me, they would always come to the back porch to search if I left them some food, this continued for a few month..lol:cloud9:

claudia, any I rehab are released in our yard...now they think they're house pets *L* and bother my hubby when he's trying to work in the garage, if he's under a car they sit on his chest "talking"

just put the nuts down between his boots....or sit on his boot.....they'll eventually go to him
