Feline cataracts

I just took my 12 year old cat to the vet, and apparently he has small cataracts. :( The vet was not too worried about them - if they get more noticeable, we are to bring him back. I've never heard of these. Is there anything more I can do? What should I watch for?

Here is a link for Ocluvet. It can help reduce opacity of lenses in cases of cataracts. These drops can also help prevent the cataracts from worsening. Ocluvet is a good alternative when surgery is not an option. If your vet has not recommended or discussed surgery, then it may be that the cataracts are not bad enough to warrant surgery.

Hope it helps. :pawprint:
