Dogs Do Sense..

When we are upset. I found out on Tuesday a very dear friend of mine has ALS. He will die from it.

I was crying and Tyra started to howl, and Quincy had to be on me. He licked the tears away. HRH Missie the Poo and Annie sat at my feet, while I fell apart.

Quincy has not let me out of his sight for the past few days. He has to be on me or near me. So dogs do sense when we are upset.

I'm so sorry about your friend.

Our pets do sense our moods. They know when we need comfort. They are amazing.

They absolutely do sense. Your body chemisty changes and they can smell that change. They know when you feel sorrow, happiness and panic. They are incredible animals for comfort. I have a few stories of my own on this subject matter that are fascinating and some are very sad and disturbing. I will not obviously go into it but all animals are aware of how we feel and what we need. They are selfless.

Of course they do. Did you ever have any doubt? :)

You are so right, they do feel your emotions. Snowball never missed a beat with mine and was always there for me and Jasper is quickly picking up on my moods.

They are just precious, selfless beings with unconditional love. :lovestruck:

Dogs do sense your mood and they offer great companionship when you need it. I will never forget the special attention my female Rottie gave me after the birth of my first child. She rallied by me, and would not let me go anywhere without an escort. I think she sensed I was vulnerable, and she was very protective.
