OMG Best Toy Ever

So Sugar and I went to pick up her Doogles today, of course we had to check out the toys. Walked out with the Doogles and a Mini Skinneez. Sugar carries it every where I have never seen her play with something for so long,:lovestruck: won't even share with Peanut.
Does any one else have these for their dogs? I think I'll go back and get her the other ones.:D

SolaMio August 13th, 2008 05:10 PM

I had to look it up, but what a great idea!!

Which one did you get, lotus? I like the skunk personally :D

aslan August 13th, 2008 05:15 PM

ohoh we have that, i didn't know the name as my spouse bought it,the dogs just went mental for it. We have the grey bunny too.

Got Sugar the fox. They kinda look like road kill.
After seeing the prices online I'm going to get her a couple more, the store I got hers from only charges $5.98 for them ,think I got a really good deal.

Chaser August 13th, 2008 05:47 PM

LOL...those do kind of look like roadkill! I think Chase & Kailey may really like those though....

What stores sell them in Ontario?

lotus August 13th, 2008 06:05 PM

Got mine at Healthy Paws in Sarnia. Hopefully alsan can find out where theirs came form.
They come in large and small sizes. Hope you can find a store near you that sell them.
Sugar still dragging it around the house.:D

aslan August 13th, 2008 06:40 PM

Chase_mom we got ours at walmart, everywhere has a walmart. And yup pretty much look like roadkill especially when they get left out in the rain. Then you have to wash them so they look like clean road kill:D

Oh, mine love these too! Although beware, we had the skunk one as well and it got dragged out into the backyard through the doggie door and left outside overnight during a rain storm. It ended up scaring my dog walker to death who thought it was a real carcuss of a dead skunk that my dogs were playing with, LOL! She called me all in a panic. Still makes me laugh. :)

LOl...that's too funny Smiley14!!!

Thanks aslan - I'll go check out Wal-Mart next week when I get my first paycheque (WOOHOO!!!) - I think my sweeties deserve a little present :D

I think these toys would be great for Kailey - she can be nervous sometimes and I think she'd find a stuffie comforting - and with these I don't need to worry about stuffie guts spilling all over the place!

Bree doesn't know what to do with it..:laughing: we got the large raccoon one..

jessi76 August 13th, 2008 08:03 PM

wow, what a great find! Thanks for posting about it! Tucker would probably love them, but at the same time, would probably be a bit bummed that there were no "magical clouds of happiness" inside.

Smiley, that story made me laugh!!!

just in case no one understands what we are taking about

 I checked my Walmart yesterday and they didn't have any. I was so looking forward to bringing one home for the Pins...but I brought home a stuffed water serpent dragon thingy instead.

It took about an hour of torture from Petie...then I had to take it away because he was eating all the stuffing out of it.

rainbow August 17th, 2008 03:02 AM

I've never heard of these :o which isn't a surprise since I live in Booneyville, B.C.

I will have to check the Walmart store the next time we make a trip there. :thumbs up

I'm going to post this thread in the Dog Products Review forum since it hasn't been used much ....I hope you don't mind, lotus. :o

On the subject of toys, I would like to warn everyone about balls with tongue holes in them. If you have any Kong-type toys, make sure they have at least two holes in them. If you have any with just one hole in it, throw it out!

Recently I heard from someone I know that a regular dog at a dog run I frequent put his tongue in a ball with one hole, and it created a vacuum and he couldn't get it out all day while the owners were at work. When they owners came home they couldn't get it out either so he was taken to the emergency vet. They had to amputate a large part of his tongue! Very nasty indeed.

i was at walmart yesterday and i saw the fox and the rabbit ones, so i checked the price for you guys, they are $ 3.98:D

rainbow August 17th, 2008 04:11 PM

WOW....that's cheaper than the website that Breeze posted. They are $5.99 on sale and that's in the United States.

mollywog August 17th, 2008 06:52 PM

thanks Lotus... and how are the doggles going?
I love hearing about new toys and the cheap price doesn't hurt either!!!
