May 2008 Challenge - Pets and Green (Flowers, grass, plants or anything that's green)
What does anyone have planed for the "May challenge"?? concidering it is only 1 1/2 days away.. we better put on our thinking caps and come up with one..:D
any ideas?? Breeze, I was just going to post asking the same thing. My mind is a blank right now for ideas though.
Breeze, I was just going to post asking the same thing. My mind is a blank right now for ideas though.
what can I say 2 great minds think alike fools never differ what have we not done?? something doable for the kitties :D I can never find very appropriate pics for the themes ...or maybe im just lazy Maybe Otter/hazel's idea a while back for a "squish convention"
Hazel: They could have a Squish Convention! Everyone squish in here, please, and we'll get this convention started! onster: hmmmmmmmmm that could be a monthly photo contest theme sometime Otter: Very good idea! Misery and Bunduk would have staring roles
Quoted from this thread http://www.pets.ca/forum/showthread.php?t=50527 FLOWERS!! pets and flowers??? -ashley Ck also mentioned flowers in the TJT. "april showers, may flowers" I already have pics of kitties eating flowers Flowers sound good to me, cats & dogs & other furries/feathered can do that :thumbs up I can do 'mud', 'squishies', or 'flowers'... I'd like to choose something today if possible but what about Green. (That might give the cat people more leeway and green of course includes grass and plants etc) So it could be anything green related - just a thought though. Thx marko
So it could be anything green related - just a thought though.
Don't think that would work in our backyard  . Maybe I can find a patch of weeds somewhere . Green, flowers, gardens...all sounds good to me :thumbs up . It'll definitely be a challenge for me. HAHA!! 'green' as in green grass or 'green' as in recycled cardboard?? we have tons of both!!! -ash
I'd like to choose something today if possible but what about Green. (That might give the cat people more leeway and green of course includes grass and plants etc) So it could be anything green related - just a thought though. Thx marko
Onnie uses the recyling bin and his personal kitty fort, does that count? i dunno about mud hazel, kitties dont like to get their tootsies dirty Plus id have to bring mud indoors and im not tooo sure how that with fly with the parental unit, lol  So basically it is either flowers or "Green"....:thumbs up (there, there squish convention, one day u will have ure turn :grouphug:) |
Ok everybody - The pre-challenge posts are merged and the challenge is on.
I sort of merged the green ideas together just to keep the theme as wide as possible... ...... and I already know what I'm doing with Ziglet  Poor poor :cat: ....he's so not going to be happy. But hey, he does get free food and rent, .....time to pay. Who is posting first...ready set ...Go! |

Wow gorgeous Duffy!
And as always stunning pics Rick! I only have a few green pics as my guys never venture out into the grass! First up- my first cat Cordelia(cat-nabbed by my mother) when she used to go outside. Then my favorite tree. And lastly my in-laws' beautiful man, Ebony who passed away just last month.:rip::candle: |
Beautiful green shots everyone !!! :lovestruck:
Rick, I can certainly see how Polly's photo was a finalist in the Canadian Living magazine's contest. :cloud9: |
I love all the shots! :lovestruck:
growler Duffy's eyes are really brought out by the green grass! rick the vividness of the colour is amazing! krdahmer love the loungin' kitties - and a beautiful shot of that tree! I don't think I'll have any green shots - my guys never venture out doors and I don't bring flowers in because they are munchers  so I'll have to live vicariously through you guys! keep 'em coming! :thumbs up |
so I'll have to live vicariously through you guys! keep 'em coming! :thumbs up
what about a blanket. or a pillow. or a sock, or a scarf. or a piece of material that is green or a green shade.....even a toy that is kinda green around ...it does not HAVE to be flowers or grass or trees......anything green or kinda resembles green or flowers.... anything, shhhhh how about photoshopping it... |
